Situation-driven work addressing a specific financial, accounting, transaction, systems, or operating requirement.
EGIS Consulting LLC
EGIS Consulting LLC provides experienced, hands-on financial leadership for companies navigating growth, performance challenges, management transitions, acquisitions, accounting problems, and other periods of significant change — supporting organizations from approximately $10M to $480M in annual revenue.
Businesses do not always need another report or recommendation. Sometimes they need experienced financial leadership capable of getting into the details, understanding what is actually happening, and helping management correct it. EGIS supports organizations when financial or operational issues require both senior-level judgment and hands-on execution.
Restore reliable reporting, strengthen close processes and controls, clear accounting backlogs, and give management financial information it can confidently use.
Identify margin leakage, costing problems, working-capital issues, process weaknesses, and other conditions limiting profitability or growth.
Support due diligence, integration, financial cleanup, reporting improvements, and the transition from acquired operations into a stronger financial environment.
Provide experienced CFO or Controller leadership following attrition, planned change, acquisition, restructuring, or while permanent leadership is recruited and onboarded.
Every engagement is different. EGIS is often brought in when existing resources, processes, systems, or leadership need additional experience to move the organization forward.
Growth has outpaced financial infrastructure — or a viable business is underperforming, experiencing margin pressure, or needs stronger reporting, forecasting, controls, and operating discipline to reach its potential.
Delayed closes, unreliable statements, accounting backlogs, weak controls, cash-flow pressure, or other financial issues require cleanup, stabilization, and information management can confidently use.
A CFO, Controller, Accounting Manager, or other key leader has departed, a management change is planned, or the financial function needs experienced leadership through transition or restructuring.
Post-acquisition cleanup, reporting improvement, leadership transition, integration, operational improvement, or special situations require hands-on financial leadership and execution.
Costing, inventory, labor, overhead, margins, ERP information, or operating data are not providing an accurate view of performance — limiting management's ability to improve results.
Acquisition, sale, recapitalization, ownership change, integration, or another transaction requires reliable financial information, experienced execution, and a disciplined transition plan.
The right solution depends on the need. EGIS can address a defined project, provide hands-on interim leadership during a transition, or remain involved through continuing fractional support as requirements change.
Situation-driven work addressing a specific financial, accounting, transaction, systems, or operating requirement.
Senior financial leadership during periods of change, with emphasis on stabilizing the function, resolving outstanding issues, and preparing the organization for long-term leadership.
Ongoing CFO or Controller-level support for organizations that need experienced financial leadership without requiring a full-time executive.
Manufacturing accounting cannot be separated from operations. Reliable financial performance requires an understanding of inventory, labor, overhead, production efficiency, job or product costing, ERP processes, and the operational activities producing the numbers.
EGIS combines financial leadership with hands-on manufacturing and operational experience to help identify discrepancies between reported results and operating reality.
Transactions frequently expose issues that were difficult to identify before closing. Accounting processes may not scale. Management may change. Historical information may prove unreliable. Systems may not integrate. Costing may be inaccurate. Reporting expectations may increase dramatically.
EGIS provides hands-on financial and operational support to help sponsors and portfolio-company management understand the situation, establish reliable information, resolve problems, and move the organization forward.
Discuss a Portfolio Company SituationNot every organization requires a project engagement, interim executive, or full-time financial leader. EGIS provides ongoing Controller and CFO-level support structured around the organization’s requirements, management team, complexity, and desired level of involvement.
Fractional engagements are structured as monthly retainers based primarily on expected time commitment, leadership responsibility, complexity, and availability requirements. Scope is tailored to each organization rather than defined by a fixed menu of services.
For organizations requiring experienced Controller-level oversight without a full-time financial executive.
For organizations requiring continuing involvement across accounting, reporting, forecasting, operational finance, and management support.
For organizations requiring ongoing CFO-level participation in financial, strategic, operational, and stakeholder decisions.
For organizations requiring substantial CFO or Controller involvement while retaining the flexibility of an external engagement.
Our affiliated CPA practice, EGIS Tax & Advisory, provides tax planning, tax preparation, accounting, and advisory services for individuals and businesses.
